1213, 1222, 1223 (Back of bottle) Re-worked mold on Cedarburg bottles

This is a photo of the re-worked mold on three antique soda bottles from Cedarburg. All three fronts are shown in this gallery. The bottles are from A. Weber (1213), Nic Becker (1222) and H. Rismeyer (1223). All show a glass company of A&DHC on the front hub. It has been conjectured that the mold was purchased from A&DHC and re-worked by another company. The repair is about 4 by 2 and 1/2 inches. It is rough and whittled and shows 6 rivets where the repair was put on. The rivets are larger at the top than at the bottom. The Nic Becker bottle has the most faded repair and the rivets are starting to be smoothed over. These are great crude examples!
