1798 Joe Evans Eau Claire Wisconsin

An attractive design for a pictured hutch. This antique bottle features a circle inside the slug plate with the outline of a star inside. Around the star, the bottle is embossed, "JOE EVANS EAU CLAIRE, WIS." There is a mug base. The slug plate is very low on the front on this mold by ROOT glass (reverse hub). There is a very similar mold by ABCo with the low slug plate. The ABCo bottle has the arches on the mug base pointing upward while they point downward on this example.
