This bottle reads, "WAGNER & BOLLENBECK MADISON WIS". It also reads "THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD" on the front hub. This is not typical of most Wisconsin hutches.

The lettering was colored in by a previous owner. Let me take this chance to remind you that painting over the embossing is not something that improves your bottle. These antiques should be treated as artistic historic artifacts. It usually takes work, tumbling, or chemicals to remove the paint. If you're thinking about painting your bottle, do it on canvas!
