8737 M. Gondrezick Tomah, Wis (citron)

It would be hard to argue that this is not the best known Wisconsin hutchinson soda bottle. There is certainly none better, and only a few that are even close. This one is from someone else's collection. They are kindly holding it for me until they get sick of looking at it. This gorgeous antique soda bottle has age, (1880s), the glass was manufactured in Wisconsin by the Wisconsin Glass Company (bottom), it is from a small town, and that color. Oh, that color. Citron, yellow, olive green, lime green ... a colored hutch by any other name. The bottle itself is embossed, "M. GONDREZICK TOMAH WIS." And did I mention that I would be interested in owning this one?
