Antique Milwaukee Maxfield 2 gallon stoneware jug

Photo courtesy of Scott Riser fall 2008. This antique little beauty is incised with a later, 1855 to 1858 Maxfield Milwaukee stamp. The primary decoration featured on this two gallon ovoid jug is the size demarcation 2. This Jug is stamped, 'J.B. MAXFIELD MILWAUKEE.
