Appleton WI Brown Blob Bottle

This brown-colored bottle from Appleton, Wisconsin had a blob top secured by a metal clasp. It probably held ginger beer which reached its a peak of popularity in the early 20th century. Today, “ginger beer” is most often produced as a soft drink…ginger ale!
