An early C. & J. Michel's paper label only quart beer bottle from the 1870's or 1880's. It has an applied with the paper label that reads "CHAS. & JOHN MICHEL EXPOERT LAGER BEER LA CROSSE, WIS." with a C&J monogram in the center.
