Charles Schlitz's German Wine Bitters

This is a great 1870's bitters bottle from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is a triangular semi-cabin shape with embossing on two panels "CHAS. SCHLITZ MILWAUKEE WIS." on one panel and "GERMAN WINE BITTERS" on the other. "C&I" in embossed on the bottom. The lip is applied and tooled. This is one of the best Wisconsin bitters.
