Engel and Son Fond Du Lac WI

Inscription reads, “A ENGEL & SON FOND DU LAC WIS.” Adolph Engel was born in Germany in 1850. He came to Wisconsin in 1867 and worked as a carpenter. In 1892, he went into bottling. The name of the “son” on the bottle was Herman, Adolph’s only child. He was a well-respected and prominent businessman.
