Inscription reads, “FRANZ FALK BREWING CO MILWAUKEE WIS.” After the Falk Young and Borchert Brewery broke up in 1892, Falk opened his own brewery in Milwaukee. The competition was intense at the time. Profits were hard to come by and partnerships didn’t last long.
