Inscription reads, “MILLER BREWING CO. (PINT), MILWAUKEE, WIS THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD.“ Is this the birth of the Miller script logo? By the way, the bottle WAS never sold. The beer was purchased but the bottles were so expensive, the brewery wanted them back! Fred Miller went out of business in 1920.
