Embossing reads “GEO ZEIGER SO MILWAUKEE WIS THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD.” Zeiger produced and sold Weiss Beer. The reason he didn’t want the bottle sold was because bottles were very expensive. The contents (Weiss beer) were sold, but the container (the precious bottle) had to be returned.
