J. Hannemann

This amber embossed blob beer bottle still has the original neck tie wire, lever wire and bail intact connected to the lid. This bottle has the words “J. Hannemann Beaver Dam Wis” in a circle on the belly of the bottle. Throughout the years, blob bottles have been used for many different uses, however it originally started from the brewery in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. It’s thought to come from one of the Beaver Dam breweries created in the 1850s, along with other industries built. These industries were built European immigrants from Germany, Ireland, Poland and other nations.
