John Graf Company 1925 crown Milwaukee, Wisconsin
This clear (colorless) crown from the John Graf Company stands about 8 inches tall. It has reed-like facets in the center of the bottle (eight sides), that alternate between smooth and textured (pebbled) glass. The top and bottom are round. The embossing reads, "THE BEST WHAT GIVES CONTENTS 7 1/2 FLD. OZ." (around the top), "GRAF'S" (scripted in the center), "JOHN GRAF CO. MILWAUKEE" (on the hub), and "PATENTED 5 MARCH 24, 1925" (on the bottom). The style of writing on the word "GRAF'S" was used on many bottles including quarts and larger water bottles.
