John Gund Brewing Co. (pony, variant), La Crosse,Wisconsin

After a disastrous fire, the John Gund Brewing Co. was rebuilt. However, a vast quantity of beer was saved including huge shipments in nearby railroad cars. In 1898, the new brewery was completed. It was expanded in 1900. A new bottle washing machine was added. Annual output was an incredible twenty five million bottles. Glass maker of this bottle was A.B.Co. instead of S.B. & G.Co. Bottle inscription reads, “JOHN GUND BREWING CO. LA CROSSE, WIS.”
