John Kurth & Co. (quart), Columbus, Wisconsin

Here is an early dark amber, quart Baltimore loop blob beer bottle embossed, "John Kurth & Co., Columbus, WIS." in a circular form. This bottle is very crude for a Baltimore loop seal and may date to the late 1880's or early 1890's. This bottle looks earlier than the bottling dates listed in Kroll's book. There is no glassmaker present on this bottle.
