What a splendid inscription – simply “KNAPSTEIN.” The Knapstein Brewing Co. was yet another wonderful old Wisconsin brewery killed off by Prohibition. The company lasted 12 years from 1908 until 1920. They must have been well-known given their prestigious one-word inscription!
