M-B CO. Milwaukee, Wisconsin

This old medicine bottle is clear in color but I gave it to my mother who thought it would look better with colored water in it. The embossing reads, "THE M-B CO. MILWAUKEE" inside a slug-plate-like circle. Does anybody know what M-B stands for?
