Manhattan Bottling Works, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

A nice blue seltzer bottle containing three oval layers of etching. The second oval is stenciled, "The Manhattan Bottling Works, Milwaukee, WIS." with 2 dots separating the company name and town. The center oval is stenciled with a, "horse" and the words, "Trade Mark, INC., Registered", and below the outer oval is one line of etching that reads, "Contents 26 OZ." Notice that on this particular bottle, the horse's head is extended forward instead of an upward position. There was no HORSE'N around when this seltzer bottle was designed!!!
