Inscription reads “MARSHFIELD BREWING CO MARSHFIELD WIS THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD.” It still has the original clasp. Why there are so many antique beer bottles labelled “Not to be sold?” Maybe they lasted so long because they weren’t sold!
