Maxfield stoneware antique Jug Milwaukee

Photo courtesy of Scott Riser fall 2008. This is one crude antique Milwaukee ovoid jug. Incised with a 1855 to 1858 Maxfield stamp. This stoneware jug has an exceptionally crude form. The stamp reads, "J.B. MAXFIELD MILWAUKEE" This pottery jug is nicely decorated with a cobalt blue flower.
