Maxfield undecorated crock or jar - two gallon

This two gallon salt glazed jar is signed J. B. MAXFIELD MILWAUKEE. There are three decorative lines around the shoulder. The color of the piece is actually grey even though the photo makes it look tan. Photo is courtesy of eBay. Note the similarity to the Ransom jar.
