Menk, Th. Waterloo Wis

This is one of the great early stoneware bottles from Wisconsin. It is incised "TH. MENK WATERLOO, WIS." in an oval with a heart in the center. It dates from 1874 to 1875. Waterloo is a very small town between Milwaukee and Madison, just west of Watertown.
