National Bitters Milwaukee

This brilliant green bitters bottle is also found in clear glass. It is from the National Distilling Co. in Milwaukee. The bottle is not embossed but has a swirled neck and a tooled lip. It appears to date from the early 1900's. The label reads "NATIONAL BITTERS PRESCRIPTION DONEE PAR UN EMINENT MOINE FRANCAIS" and the back label identifies the bottler as "NATIONAL EXTRACT WORKS 344 EAST WATER STREET MILWAUKEE, WIS."
