The inscription is simple but baffling, “PB MILWAUKEE.” Is it short for Pabst Brewing’s well-known abbreviation “PBR?” By the way, Pabst is still doing well. The company has won "Large Brewing Company of the Year" at the Great American Beer Festival in 2011 and 2012.
