Paper label only quart beer from Phillip Best. Bottle is embossed on the bottom "C. 3 MILW" (Chase Vally Glass). In 1864, Phillip Pabst purchased a half interest in the brewing company for $21,057.05 and his brother-in-law Schandein purchased the other half. Production of beer had reached 14,139 barrels by 1866.
