Sander Bros. (variant) Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin

This blob top bottle is embossed “SANDER BROS FOND DU LAC WIS.” The two brothers operated their brewery for 23 years between 1897 until 1923. This pre-prohibition bottle is considered more valuable. The newspapers covered the onset of prohibition almost like a funeral, with dirges being imagined at every soon-to-close local saloon! Glass maker-"I.G.Co. 78 3/4" embossed on the heel of the bottle.
