Embossing on this clear blob top bottle reads, ”VAL BLATZ BOTTLING CO. ST. PAUL, MINN.” Mr. Blatz was a community leader in Milwaukee. He was widely popular and given many positions of trust. He served as president of the Second Ward Savings Bank in 1868. In 1872 he was elected alderman.
