In its later years, Blatz beer introduced paper labels. This was a big breakthrough. The label reads, “Val. Blatz’ Milwaukee Premium Export Lager Beer. Guaranteed in any climate. The only premium awarded by the centennial exhibition for Milwaukee Bottled Beer.” Congratulations, Val! By the way, the “VB” logo on the label looks terrific.
