Valentine Blatz Milwaukee Brewery

Blatz Premium Lager Beer won a special award at the 1948 Milwaukee Centennial Exposition, the only beer so honored. Blatz was sold to Pabst in 1958 but the sale was by the federal government. Pabst then bought the assets and finally sold Blatz to Heileman in 1969.
