This clear blob-top bottle is labelled “WM J FINKE & CO BOTTLERS BURLINGTON WIS.” Finke didn’t have too much success as a brewer. After only 11 years in business, he attracted a partner in 1884 and kept the operation going until 1922. The brewer was started by his father Anton who, incredibly, was killed in 1873 in a “runaway sleigh accident!”
